Version 2.29: Class Balance and Dungeon Rewards Rework

Version 2.29: Class Balance and Dungeon Rewards Rework

Version 2.29 of Isekai Waifu Overlord is live, and it focuses on two areas: class balance and dungeon rewards. Two classes get stronger, one is toned down and every dungeon now pays out something on each run.

Mighty Conqueror Buff

  • Crush damage at levels 1, 2 and 3 goes from 1100%, 1300% and 1500% to 1100%, 1500% and 2000%
  • Crush cooldown at levels 1, 2 and 3 drops from 20 seconds at every level to 15, 10 and 5 seconds
  • The passive that reduced Crush cooldown has been replaced: basic attacks now deal 20% splash damage

Arcane Enchantress Buff

  • Malediction now makes targets take 20 to 30% more damage for 5 seconds instead of 3. A bug that stopped this effect from working has also been fixed
  • The passive skill cooldown reduction rises from 15% to 25%

Legendary Sniper Adjustment

The attack speed passives at levels 1, 2 and 3 go from 15%, 20% and 30% to 10%, 15% and 20%. This change targets a combination with percentage damage relics that had become too strong.

Bug Fix

Lativia Lifiel's Forest's Breath now grants defense at level 1, matching its description.

Dungeon Rewards Rework

Every dungeon now comes with a guaranteed reward. Drop chances no longer depend on difficulty, and both reward amounts and their scaling have been reworked.

  • Living Cave: no changes this time. Time skips are planned for a future update
  • Underground Thicket: rewards now grow with difficulty, and hammers are guaranteed
  • Hellish Rift: Magic Dust rewards are 75 times higher at level 1 and 10 times higher at level 100, with slower growth between levels. Golden Magic Dust drops have been significantly reduced
  • Sands of Eternity: the Seal of Mastery now drops every time, in amounts roughly three times larger
  • Frost Jaws: the strawberry gift now drops every time, and dust rewards are 10 times higher

Overall, dungeon rewards are worth significantly more at level 1, stay the same at level 100 and are slightly lower beyond level 100.
