Horn of Overflow and a Major Defense Rework
The Elven Forest Event is back in Isekai Waifu Overlord, and Lativia Lifiel returns with it. She can be met through Divine Summon, alongside a brand new artifact: the Horn of Overflow.
Lativia Lifiel, Skill
- Level 1: Restores 15% health to the hero
- Level 3: Restores 15% of the hero's health, then increases defense by 100% for 10 seconds
- Level 5: Increases Healing Efficiency by 15%
New Artifact: Horn of Overflow
When restoring health, the Horn of Overflow deals damage equal to the restored amount to all enemies within a radius around the hero. At low values, this only affects enemies standing right next to the hero, while at high values, it hits all enemies at once.
Daily and Weekly Task Changes
- Rewards have been changed
- The difficulty of the quest to level up the girls has been reduced
Defense Rework
The defense cap has been increased from 95% damage reduction to 99.5%, and the defense percentage is now higher for identical numerical values.
For example, with 10,000 defense, the defense percentage was previously 47.5% and is now 60.8%. With 2,000,000 defense, it was previously 92% and is now 97.5%, meaning only 2.5% damage is taken instead of 8%, more than tripling survivability at these defense values.
This change aims to increase the value of defensive builds and mechanics, especially in the lategame, breathing new life into builds beyond the glass cannon archetype. Since this rework also affects enemy defense, enemy health has been reduced by 10% in the early stages to counterbalance the change.
Event Rating and Divine Mountain Rewards
Rewards in the global rankings are given to the top 100 players. Rewards will be distributed automatically right after the patch, with a rewards window popping up in-game combining rewards from both the global and group leaderboards.
